Who we are.fnord

We are the House of the Kiwi.  We were founded in 1053 A.D. by the great Duke Lerance Crossley, Protector of Saviant of Elran.  Our original name is translated roughly into "House of the Great Understanding". We were founded upon the principles of greater universal understanding, a revolutionary idea at the time...still a revolutionary idea.

The House of the Kiwi has been through its share of ups and downs during it's 946 year existence. In 1190 the Teutonic Order of knights attempted to hunt down members of the House of the Great Understanding, forcing many of the higher members into hiding and forcing a name change. In 1249 the House of the Kiwi made its first attempts to influence learning on a large scale with the admission of professors at the first college of Oxford England.  In 1262 Marco Polo was secretly inducted to the House of the Kiwi and commissioned to report his findings to the Head Office, as well as his more official contacts. In 1347 the Black Death spread throughout England casting the House of the Kiwi to farther lands in attempts to avoid death from the plague. This was a blessing is disguise as this is where the first House of the Kiwi apostles were introduced to Hinduism, and therefore breaking through the barriers set-up from that times western thinking. In 1415 one of our lead apostles, John Hus, was burned at the stake for crimes against the church. In 1455 the House of the Kiwi was able to subliminally implant the first printing of the bible in Gutenberg Germany. In 1480 the Spanish inquisition forced all House of the Kiwi members station in Europe to flee to the New World. The apostles in China were not affect by this and this therefore explains why the House of the Kiwi has a strong influence and following  in China and Tibet.  The main HQ was moved to the western half of the future United States and the House of the Kiwi then operated in relative secrecy and in solitaire until 1776 when the Illuminati were reformed and the House of the Kiwi was asked to become partners. The House of the Kiwi stayed an underground movement until the late 1960's when a House of the Kiwi influenced Macalypse the Younger and Lord Omen Khayyam Ravenhurst wrote and published the Principa Discordia. And in 1994 the House of the Kiwi established a presence of the Internet.

All Hail Eris, All Hail Discordia
